Honest Horsemanship
built to last.
About Lunari
At Lunari Equestrian, we train in the space where instinct meets intention and choosing harmony, not hierarchy. We believe that trust is earned, not forced, and that true horsemanship begins long before the saddle.
We don’t teach horses to submit, we teach them to understand. Every movement, every still moment, is a conversation. Our training methods draw from the quiet truths of wild herds: boundaries are clear, leaders are consistent, and connection is everything.
Whether we’re working with a fresh-off-the-track Thoroughbred, a horse carrying trauma, or a rider seeking clarity, our approach stays the same. Listen. Lead with respect. And never rush what matters.

Our Mission
At Lunari Equestrian, we train in the space where instinct meets intention — choosing harmony, not hierarchy. We earn the horse’s trust through curiosity, consistency, and communication. Every horse brings a story, and we meet each one with clarity, respect, and rhythm. Our approach blends behavior, body language, and the quiet truths of herd dynamics — not to control, but to collaborate. This is horsemanship rewritten — honest, intuitive, and built to last.

Our Story
Lunari was born from the bond between two trainers, and the horses who shaped them. From long trail rides across Colorado’s wilderness to quiet mornings in the round pen, this work has never been just a job. It’s a calling.
Our name honors the moon as it is a guide in the dark, a rhythm in nature, a reminder that progress comes in phases.
It also honors the horses who brought us here, Nero, Venus, Buttercup, and others who demanded more from us — more patience, more presence, more truth.
Together, we built Lunari to be more than a training program.
It’s a promise: that horse and human can both walk away better than they began.
